Phoenix Lake are a modern melodic metal band hailing from the UK, blending cinematic symphonic elements with the raw intensity of modern metalcore. Drawing comparisons to bands like Evanescence, Parkway Drive, and Within Temptation, their sound is both ethereal and aggressive — a firestorm of heavy riffs, haunting harmonies, and emotionally-charged storytelling.

Led by the spellbinding vocals of Lana Phillis, the band crafts music that is deeply personal, yet universally resonant. Each song unfolds like a gothic fable — dark, vulnerable, and fiercely human — wrapped in sweeping melodies and thunderous breakdowns. Following the success of their debut EP Beyond The Flames (June 2023), Phoenix Lake quickly captured national attention. Their latest singles, Fractured Wings and Serenity, received airplay on BBC Radio One and Kerrang!, pushing the band further into the spotlight. Known for their explosive live energy, they’ve supported UK metallers Skarlett Riot, sold out Nottingham’s iconic Rock City (Beta stage), and opened the prestigious Sophie Lancaster stage at Bloodstock Festival 2023.

2025 saw Phoenix Lake ascending even higher — with standout appearances already at Call of the Wild, Breaking Bands, Mangata, Hammerdown, and a triumphant return to Bloodstock. This autumn, they’ unleashed a powerful new single, "Bells Of Variel" building toward their highly-anticipated debut concept album, due February 27th 2026. A special uk album tour is being planned.

With no intention of slowing down, Phoenix Lake are carving their name into the modern metal landscape — fierce, cinematic, and utterly unignorable.
